Medical Marijuana Support Still Strong in Michigan

Jon Walker over at Just Say Now has a post about the continued
support for Medical Marijuana in Michigan. In 2008 on the ballot
was "Proposal 1" that received great support. Today the people
of Michigan still strongly support this Proposal.

Congress in Texas Making Decisions About Women's Health

Anna M. Tinsley over at Star-Telegram has written an article about
the Texas Congress trying to pass a bill that will affect women's right
to just have an abortion without having a sonogram. This bill would
require women to have a sonogram 24 hours before the abortion.

And after the sonogram they have to sit in a Doctor's office and listen
to the Doctor talk about the formation of the fetus's arms and legs.
The sonogram measure, which has failed in previous legislative
sessions, was initiated by the famous Gov. Rick Perry.

Bianca Vera Saves Life by Jumping Off Bridge

There is an article up over at Huffington Post about this brave young lady.
Her SUV was clipped by another car on a bridge in Georgia. As she went to
check the damage to her car she saw a truck heading right at her. She had
two options hope the truck does not hit her or jump off the 40 foot bridge.

She decided to jump off the bridge in the freezing water of Lake Lanier and
swam 45 minutes with a broken back to shore. As Bianca was descending
down she heard the truck hit her car and a pile occurred. She knew she made
the right decision. A rescue crew was that was in the area meet her at shore.
