WASHINGTON: NATO will take command of all coalition military operations in Libya on Wednesday, US President Barack Obama said Monday in a nationally televised address to the American people.
"Going forward, the lead in enforcing the no-fly zone and protecting civilians on the ground will transition to our allies and partners, and I am fully confident that our coalition will keep the pressure on Kadhafi's remaining forces." (AFP)
